Children's Skating School in Helsinki

Would your child like to learn how to skate or improve their skating skills in a fun and supportive environment?

The Helsinki Ringette Skating School is designed for children aged 3–12. Whether your child is stepping onto the ice for the very first time or already has some skating experience, everyone is welcome.

Our practices focus on learning through games, activities and fun skating exercises. Children develop their skating skills at their own pace in a safe, encouraging and inclusive environment, where the joy of movement always comes first.

New for the 2026–2027 Skating School season

Starting in autumn 2026, one season fee gives your family even more flexibility.

With a single registration, your child can attend skating school sessions at all three Helsinki Ringette locations:

• Vuosaari

• Oulunkylä

• Herttoniemi

Try Kids Skating School for Free

New participants are welcome to try two skating sessions free of charge before deciding whether to continue. Skating School is something to try!

To get started, your child only needs:

• skates

• a helmet

• a water bottle
